Do you love DIY projects? And do you like to be praised for your creative style? Then I have some ideas for you. In this post, I will show you 10 easy DIY ideas that you can create with a maximum of 2 wooden acoustic panels.
Let’s get to it.
This is one of my favorite small projects to make with the acoustical panels!
It’s a super popular project at the moment.
It’s super simple and must be classified as one of the world’s easiest DIY projects.
Don’t you agree that it’s super simple?
It doesn’t get any easier.
that it doesn’t require any advanced skills. I usually compare it to installing shelves on a wall. If you can manage that, then you can also install the akupanels.
Pretty neat, right?
I must admit that our customers have been super creative.
I love it.
On to the next project:
As you can see on this image this is kind of brilliant.
The project in itself doesn’t even require a full panel. You can even use leftovers from another project, or you can make it from one of our colour samples.
As I said – it doesn’t require much. All you have to do is go to your local store to buy some “hooks”.
It’s a fun project if you ask me.
Is it possible to do a cover for the radiator with your acoustical panels?
As you can see, then there’s no radiator in this image.
That’s because it’s hidden
… behind a cover made from akupanels.
So the cheeky answer is; yes – that certainly is possible. Brilliant, right? The only thing you have to bear in mind is that you might have to cut long holes in the felt between some of the lammelas to ensure that the air can circulate. That’s a least what I personally would recommend even though it hasn't been done in this picture.
But ok – you can always try it out without cutting the holes, and if that isn’t enough, then you can always cut the holes afterwards if that's necessary.
Ok now – let’s move on.
Have a look. It can be done as simple as this.
It doesn’t require any more than two panels to take your kitchen desk to the next level. With this project you will add a really stylish and exclusive look to your kitchen.
Cut the panels and mount the panels with black screws through the felt and – voila!
Easy.
This one explains itself.
I don’t think I want to add that much of a comment except from the fact that you don’t necessarily have to cover a whole wall with acoustical panels in order to get a nice wall.
Less can do it.
Moving on!
Yes!
I’ve really been looking forward to sharing this idea with you!
Because when we posted this image on our instagram it had a ton of likes. So I know for a fact that this is a very popular project to do.
If you are one of the lucky ones to have an alcove in your house, then this project is a must do.
Even though you would only need a few panels for it then I would say that it doubles the coziness factor in the room.
Sometimes it only requires a few panels in order to create a drastic change on a wall. The point being once again that only a few panels can make massive changes.
You don’t have to cover a wall from one end to the other.
I have collected some examples here which only requires a maximum of two panels.
I love the detail with the mirror.
It’s like the mirror is binding the two types of wall – the painted wall and the slatwall – together in a beautiful way.
Do you own a mirror like this? Then I think you should consider this look.
Another great detail is this one.
These few panels seem to make the whole room stand out from the ordinary to the extraordinary. After all it’s a simple detail, but what a difference it makes.
Brilliant (if you ask me)!
And once more – a simple solution but very beautiful.
It’s also one of the projects you can do if you have spare panels from another project.
Do you have a door in your hallway?
Then you might be able to make a beautiful door frame like this. By doing this you will add a significantly more exclusive look to your door.
A lovely detail. Don’t you agree?
Quite often there’s not a lot of space in your entrance, which is why you in nature don't need a lot of panels in order to optimize the look of the entrance.
As you can see here – just one acoustical panel can really improve the first impression that your guests get once they enter your home.
And as you might already know – first impressions are super important!
It’s as simple as this.
I wish we would have had a picture of the entrance before it was optimized, but I think that you can easily imagine what difference it has made.
All right – here comes the last idea that I want to show you.
In this case I have several solutions that I want to share with you.
One of the options that you have is to create a new look on old furniture like underneath.
Yeah – I know that one side is still missing. But I’m sure that you get the picture.
And this leads me to the second solution. And that is that you are able to make a really cool wall cover on the basis of your existing furniture.
Usually the back wall between the closets would just have been white, which is okay, but nothing compared to this solution underneath. .
Have a look.
This is by far my favorite project that only requires two panels. Which is why I thought it would be the perfect idea to end this blogpost with.
I really hope that you got inspired.
And remember the whole point being that in some cases just a single panel can make a huge difference in your decor.
Another thing is that doing one of these projects is also a good way to learn how to work with the product before you throw yourself at another – larger – project.
In any case – thanks for reading!
